Lao Ban Zhang Pu’er Tea – Ripe Tea Cake
Each Mini Cake ~6g – Perfect for Multiple Steeps

What is Pu’er Ripe Tea?
Hi, I’m Roy! Pu’er ripe tea (Shou Pu’er) comes from Yunnan Province and is fermented and aged to bring out a smooth, earthy flavor with a mellow finish. Unlike fresh green teas, ripe Pu’er develops depth, richness, and complexity through a careful fermentation process.

These mini 6g tea cakes are perfect for tasting multiple steepings, whether it’s your daily tea ritual or a special tea session.

About This Tea
Lao Ban Zhang is legendary in the tea world – a remote village in Pu’er City, Yunnan, known for producing some of the most prized Pu’er leaves.

I’ve sourced these mini cakes personally from authentic Lao Ban Zhang leaves. Each 6g cake is carefully compressed to preserve the tea’s natural aroma, bold earthy flavor, and energizing character. As you brew, the tea slowly opens into a deep amber-red liquor with smooth, lingering sweetness.

Tasting Notes
Color: Dark amber with a bright, inviting glow

Flavor: Rich, earthy, and smooth, with subtle dried fruit notes and lingering sweetness

Steeping: Each mini cake can easily produce 3–5 steeps in a 120ml gaiwan or mug. Adjust steeping time to taste

Why I Love Lao Ban Zhang Ripe Tea
Authentic Origin: Sourced from Yunnan’s Pu’er City, one of the most prestigious tea regions in China

Mini Cake Convenience: 6g cakes are perfect for travel, gifting, or sampling without committing to a large cake

Multiple Steeps: Compact size doesn’t compromise flavor – each cake delivers several delicious brews

Earthy & Energizing: Smooth, mellow body that refreshes naturally

Roy Says:
“This is real Lao Ban Zhang Pu’er! The first few steeps are smooth and earthy, and as the mini cake opens fully, the tea gets richer and more complex. I love these 6g cakes because they’re perfect for multiple sessions, sharing with friends, or enjoying at home. Each cake easily resteeps 3–5 times, giving you long, satisfying tea moments.”

💡 Tip from Roy: For an extra smooth flavor, try cold-brewing one mini cake overnight. The tea develops a mellow sweetness and rich aroma, perfect for a refreshing drink.
